He opened up a 30+ point lead on Ribboy's Latrells (Derek) in second place. Midnight Express (Mustafa) and The Embeds (Gil) are tied for third but they are way behind the top two.

The Skinny: Wow, a new world order. After years and years of toil in my own pools, I have grabbed a share of the spotlight in the Pauly'sPub football pool. I never would have predicted that going into Turkey Day, Shakedown Street (Pauly) would be in a first place tie with Oyster Bay Moore (J. Moore). We overtook the Texans and Otis on Week 12. However, they are right behind us. El Rey de Pechos (TheFatGuy), Austin Drunks (M. Stephans), South Texas Chill (Storms), and G-Vegas Lime Tossers (Otis) are a mere one point out of first place. Four of them are in hot pursuit along with HighOnPork (Jordan) and about a dozen or so other teams.

The Skinny: Well, it looks like Austin Drunks could not repeat this year and sadly front runner (Ribboy's Latrells) Derek could not bring it home. That glory went to AlwaysBeCrushing (AlCantHang). This is AlCantHang's third win in the last five years in the Pauly's Pub football pool. Derek was ahead in first place going into this week, but AlCantHang won team of the week and locked up first place. Derek lost by one point and begrudingly settled for a runner-up finish two seasons in a row.

The Skinny: The Texans have taken control of the pool. South Texas Chill (Storms) is now in sole possession of first place. Two fellow residents from the country of Texas are only behind by a single point. El Rey de Pechos (TheFatGuy) and Austin Drunks (M. Stephans) are tied with G-Vegas Lime Tossers (Otis) for second place. And only two points behind the leader are Shakedown Street (Pauly) and Oyster Bay Moore (J. Moore). Yeah, Moore and I used to work on Wall Street together and the market is down so we need to get unstuck by winning the Pauly's Pub football pool. And the defending champion Niggling Groin Injuries (Garth) tied for team of the week honors. The only Australian in the pool is making a run and is well within striking distance.
Money: There's at least 20 people in the pool who have a legit shot of winning let alone making the money. Plenty of football left so make every pick count! $420 goes to first place and only the top 4 get paid.
The Brothers Bet: There's a bet among the Nardi and McGuire brothers. It's the old brothers versus the younger ones. Best combined score wins. BG + Pauly are leading with 201 points against Derek + Bobby Bracelet's 196.
